Harmonic Perspective

Jeannie Moberly and I (CJ Fearnley) have been studying interrelationships between representation, perspective and the harmonic property. We call it "Harmonic perspective". It is inspired by projective geometry.

Bridges 2015

We prepared a short four page paper "Perspectives on Borges' Library of Babel", a presentation, Jeannie's artwork Borges' Library of Babel and other supplementary resources. On 29 July 2015 from 2:45-3:00 PM, we gave a 15 minute performance/presentation at Bridges 2015.

Bridges 2012

We prepared a short four page paper on Harmonic Perspective, a presentation and other supplementary resources. On 25 July 2012 from 3:15-3:30 PM, we gave a 15 minute performance/presentation at Bridges 2012.

Prior Work

We first found reference to Harmonic Perspective in J. L. S. Hatton's 1913 book "The Principles of Projective Geometry Applied to the Straight Line and Conic". Another more recent resource is Paris Pamfilos's page on Harmonic perspectivity in his Geometrikon.
